Tourism Reports and Statistics

The most widely used reporting on the state of tourism in NSW and across Australia come from Destination NSW and Tourism Research Australia, the research branch within Austrade. The most recent available figures are generally released in March and October of each year. All relevant reports will be posted to this site as released. Note that the ‘Tourism Year’ runs from 1 April-31 March and statistics are often gathered on this basis.

Bathurst Region Tourism also gathers information from a data analytics platform, ‘LOCALIS’, which provides real-time analysis of accommodation bookings, forward occupancy and mobility data.
